Faith in Action - Central Lakeland provides a variety
of services to our elderly and frail neighbors so they may remain
in their homes - safe, healthy and with dignity - at no cost to
them. Working with dedicated volunteers, FIACL does
everything from reassurance calls and transportation to yard work
and house cleaning.
Arts on the Park is Lakeland's community creative arts
center located in Downtown Lakeland. We provide low cost
exhibition space and a venue for both visual and performing
arts. Our goal is to provide classroom space and access
to the arts for various community groups such as Heartland for
Children.
With the current budget constraints, traditional
funding sources for both the elderly and the arts are drying
up. In order to meet the ever expanding need for our
programs, we are reaching out to artists and art lovers for
donations of art for our auction. Will you please help?

Why Donate to "Artonomy!"?
|
1) The publicity surrounding the event and exposure
to art lovers will no doubt bring you new patrons.
2) Because you know how important the creative
arts are in building community pride and cohesiveness.
3) In one way or another, we've probably all
experienced the hardships of aging and know that no one should face
it alone.
4) Because you're an artist and have a kind heart.
5) Both AOP and FIACL are 501(c)(3) organizations, so
it's tax deductible to you.
